A 20-person team tasked with building from scratch the multi-tenant cloud for KYNDRYL clients
Achievements
  • Development of a workflow embedded in an XAAS that calls via API (wrapper) a VM provisioning blueprint. Goal: include VM creation in a broader post-provisioning action process.
  • NSX automation: Development of a workflow dedicated to creating a "Routing zone" custom resource, corresponding to the creation in NSX of a Tier1 router with route advertising definition via a series of RestAPI calls to NSX.
  • NSX automation: Development of a workflow creating a "Network Security Group" custom resource, corresponding to the creation of segments in NSX and network profiles in vRA.
  • Creation of the "Network Security Group" catalog item with action (external source) for CIDR overlap checking.
  • Development of 2 deployment deletion workflows (success only mode and always mode)
  • Development of lock/unlock actions with timeout: a "manage concurrencies" mechanism based on the identifiers of the vRO processes to protect.
  • Definition and implementation of the vRO configuration structure enabling multi-tenant management on a single vRO
  • Development of the "start/stop/restart VM" feature: workflow + catalog item (XAAS) + Day2 resource action.
  • Development of the "change CPU/RAM VM" feature: workflow + catalog item (XAAS) + Day2 resource action.
